God chose you to belong to Him, to live in step with Him. Paul writes to the church in Ephesus (Eph. 1:4, 11). Even before you made a conscious decision to live in step with God, He knew you and knew all about you. He knows what you want to say even before you open your mouth. He even knows what you are thinking! You live every moment in the space of His presence.

God knows you so well that He already knows whether you have chosen to belong to Him. Every step you take on His road is already known to Him. If you have chosen to walk in step with God, you should live like His child every day. Peter makes it clear in his second letter: we must work hard so that our lives will prove that God has called and chosen us (see 2 Pet. 1:10). Will you try to do it this month?

Lord, I really want to walk and live in step with You. Thank You that You chose me to do this. Amen
