The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.  Luke 24-46

The time has come for God to die. It is also a time for Christians all over the world to become introspective and to search their hearts in preparation for Passion of Christ.

The cross is not only a turning point in the history of the world, but also a turning point in our lives. More than any other Christian holy day, this is the time when we as Christians are confronted with essence of what we believe.

Paschal Prayer

Lord, it’s too late to be silent.

You said too much; you battled too hard;

You made the “good people” out as adders,

And called them plastered sepulchers, dark as hell.

You embraced the sick and the outcasts,

You talked fearlessly to those who had no say,

You embraced tax collectors, prostitutes and lepers,

You were a servant to the poor, the beggars and the lame,

You forgot about the rules and regulations when you judged the Law by love alone.

Now the time has come for retribution:

Lord they will take you away and hang you on a cross!

Oh, my Lord, Lord what have you done?

Prayer: If I were braver and bolder, would I not stand up to the world and say: “Your Saviour come to you; yet you wished him away." Oh Lord, what have I done? Amen
