How are we supposed to eat chocolate?

According to British chocolate expert Jen Earle, chocolate should be sucked and not chewed. This way you will enjoy different tastes at the beginning, middle and end.

Studying the Word of God can be compared to the chocolate eating advice. Instead of seeing it as a "task" to be completed, it is necessary to meditate on the Word (like “sucking the chocolate”) to experience its power. Doing this we will experience how the same passage, has different "tastes" in different seasons of our lives.

Why? For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than a two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The Psalmist describes it in Psalm 119: 103: "How pleasant is your word, sweeter than honey in your mouth?" The Word is the sword with which we fight off the enemy (Ephesians 6:17).

Let's pick up the Word of God. Let's meditate upon it. And let’s experience a new taste in our current season. This is how we realize that God is still God. God bless.

Father God, thank you for your Word. Break it open to me through your Holy Spirit. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
