Pink is the colour of Spring. It is also the colour of the glasses through which we are supposed to look at each other.

In Isaiah 1:18, God says:  “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.”

In order to get the colour pink, one must mix red and white together. Likewise, when we look back at our past and remember how we were once scarlet red, our thankfulness for God's grace and ability to wash us clean, grows. He sacrificed His only Son, so we can inherit eternal life.

What did God set you free from? Fear? Anger? What situation did He turn from red to white in your life? When last did you thank Him for that?

Let's put on our “pink glasses” this month. Let’s look at each other with softer eyes. And let’s have more compassion, patience and empathy with others because we once received that from God. God bless.

Father God, thank you for Your mercy, which I receive daily. Help me to look at myself and others through those “pink glasses”. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
