Over the past few days, several readers shared their testimonies with us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thank you for that. Here are three of them:

Reader 1: Wanda: “About 16 years ago, I walked out of the shopping center to where my car was parked. It was gone! Because it was a company car, I particularly felt extremely bad about the loss. For a while after this, I did not have transport. A lady in my congregation arranged with someone to take me to church. To my surprise, myself and this man became friends very quickly. Today we have been married for 14 years! Although it wasn’t God that caused the theft of my car, He was able to turn it into something very positive! I thank Him for that. All honor to Him.”

Reader 2: Niek: "Years ago, I was on my way home after a meeting when I stopped at a red traffic light at the Rivonia exit on the N1. Three cars were in front of me. The driver of the first car at the traffic light suddenly jumped out of her car to fetch a bag from her car's boot. Just as she closed the boot, the traffic light turned green so she had to hurry to get into her car. She was about to move, when a minibus taxi swept through the intersection at full speed. I could not believe my eyes. If the woman moved seconds earlier, she would have been hit right in the center of her door. This was truly God’s protection of her life! Every time I think about that moment, I thank God for being able to use seemingly unimportant things (like a sudden need to get your bag out of the boot) to protect us. He truly is our Protector! Amen!"

Reader 3: "At this moment, I'm in the biggest storm of my life. Motorneuron Disease has already paralyzed my whole body and is currently squeezing the last breath out of my lungs. At times, like today, everything feels overwhelming and I am extremely emotional, but I have found that when I seek my refuge with the Lord, He calms the storm in my mind. Even when fears about my future overwhelm me, I find comfort as soon as I put it at Jesus' feet. The most important thing is to live close to Jesus! "

God is truly involved in our lives through His Holy Spirit on a daily basis. He guides us, protects us and comforts us when we need it. In Psalm 34: 17-18 we read: “The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed." Also in Deuteronomy 31: 6, it is written, “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Let's praise Him in every storm, knowing that He knows the future. God bless.

Father God, thank you for staying in control of my life. Help me to trust You during every storm of my life. I ask it in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
